As the morning wanes into afternoon, the final and most critical phase of the Noir Onyx’s creation takes place: the finishing. It is here that a piece of expertly stitched leather transforms into a work of art.

The cordwainers employ a traditional burnishing technique, using friction and natural waxes to seal the edges of the leather, creating a seamless, glassy finish that catches the light beautifully. The deep, absorbing black of the Noir Onyx requires a specific polishing compound, applied by hand in small, circular motions until the surface yields a subtle, sophisticated luster.

Finally, the inspection. Every millimeter of the silhouette is scrutinized under the atelier lamps. We refuse the spectacle of the modern luxury industry—you will find no oversized logos on our soles. Instead, our signature is the flawless execution of the craft itself. Only when the lead artisan is entirely satisfied is the shoe gently slipped into its cotton dust bag. It leaves the workshop not just as a piece of footwear, but as a quiet testament to the enduring power of Florentine craftsmanship.
